Once you submit your resume and cover letter, our departmental hiring managers review your qualifications against the role’s requirements. We look for a blend of technical skills, relevant experience, and potential.
Interviews are conducted online to help build a personal connection and give you the chance to ask questions about the role and team. You’ll be able to select a time slot that suits you.
Successful candidates will join our onboarding program, and will be asked to complete all required paperwork. We’ll help you plan your move to the mountains. We’ll provide accommodation options and your department will share induction dates.
Staff that are committing to the full season (between June and October season dates) and has unlimited availability may be offered BSL staff accommodation. You must be 18 YRS OLD or older to be allowed living in staff accommodation. The majority of staff accommodation provided by BSL is based on communal living arrangements.
As such, you may be required to share with up to (3) other BSL team members in dorm style/backpackers accommodation with a shared lounge room and kitchen facilities. Rent is deducted from your pay weekly in arrears.
An accommodation and uniform bond will be deducted in two parts from the first two pay periods after commencing work as a security deposit from all team members
All hired employees must supply proof of work rights, this will be required during accepting an offer of employment.
Unfortunately, working at Mount Buller does not qualify as ‘specialised work’ in regional Australia to extend a visa.
Yes. We want all our staff to enjoy the season. Full-time availability employees receive a complimentary Season Pass. If you are joining us with part-time availability, you will receive a specific allocation of day passes (depends on hours worked) so you can still enjoy your time off on the slopes.
