Living and working at Mt Buller is an experience like no other. Colleagues quickly become friends, and shortly after family, days off are consumed with exploring the exciting terrain of the mountain and evenings can be spent making the most of over 30 in-resort restaurants and bars, including the famous Kooroora Hotel.
The highlight for many is living and working with a diverse group of people who all share one passion: the snow. Most team members live in BSL provided staff accommodation, spread across Mt Buller as well as off the mountain. Living in staff accommodation is a great way to make new friends, with plenty of these friendships lasting well beyond the winter season at Buller.
Throughout the season, BSL throws a number of team dinners which gives you a chance to meet people from across the different departments. If the lure of a free meal isn’t enough, team dinners often mean staff awards and door prizes to be won!
In between the days filled with hard work (and days off filled with some seriously fun skiing and boarding) there are plenty of events the BSL team get to enjoy as well. From the excitement of the Burton Cattleman’s Rail Jam to the hilarious action of the Pond Skim National Championships in September, our team are all involved in creating lasting memories with each other and with our guests.
If the balance of hard work and great times with your friends isn’t enough – nothing beats starting your work day watching the spectacular sunrises over the Victorian Alps or falling asleep to the sounds of snow guns pumping across the resort. You really can live the dream and get paid for it, this winter at Mt Buller
